What does it cost to sell?

Bruun Rasmussen arranges sales between sellers and buyers, and sellers must pay a registration fee for each lot and a commission for each lot sold.

Registration fee

The registration fee helps defray the Bruun Rasmussen’s registration, photography, insurance, catalogue and internet overheads, which must be paid irrespective of whether lots are sold or not. The fees including VAT are as follows:

 

For items submitted for traditional auction in Copenhagen:

DKK 500

For items submitted for traditional auction in Vejle:

DKK 350

For items submitted for online auction:

DKK 250

For items submitted for tradtional book, coin, wine and weapon auctions:

DKK 250

For items submitted for online book, coin, wine and weapon auctions:

DKK 125

Commission

If lots are sold, a 16% auction commission is deducted from the hammer price. The commission includes any official taxes or charges.

Any transport charges between Bruun Rasmussen and the seller must be paid by the seller.
