If you are unable to fetch the items you have purchased at Bruun Rasmussen Online Auctions yourself, you can order rapid and professional transport home. Collection in the online departmentsYou can yourself collect the item you have purchased from the department where it was displayed on preview (opening hours). The departments have packing tables with the relevant packaging materials needed to avoid damage during transport from Bruun Rasmussen to your home. If a third party or a transport company is sent to pick up the purchased items, they must produce proof of identity and an authorisation from the purchaser in order to avoid wrongful delivery. Items must be collected by the second Monday after the sale. Otherwise, articles will be moved to the remote stores of the transport company we cooperate with:
Transport to remote stores amounts to between DKK 200 and DKK 300 incl. VAT per item. Storage fees are DKK 100 incl. VAT per week or part thereof. Ordering of transport to your homeIf you wish to have items transported home to you, Bruun Rasmussen can recommend a professional transport company which meets Bruun Rasmussen’s standards, and which is accustomed to handling the items that are sold at Bruun Rasmussen’s auctions. When the hammer has fallen in your favour for one or more items at an online auction, after the end of each auction day (normally 12 hours after the last hammer has fallen) you will receive a confirmation by email containing an invoice, a receipt for payment and information about transport. Upon sending the email, the articles involved will be labelled for transport. The email contains a link to Your page where you can request quotations for transport. Delivery will be made in Denmark within five working days of the transport being ordered - while deliveries abroad will be made within two weeks. There is no fixed transport price, as this depends on the nature of items required for transport and how far they have to be transported. The normal cost of transporting an item from Bruun Rasmussen to your home in Denmark lies between DKK 300 and DKK 500 incl. VAT, including one man for loading and unloading. Coins sent by post within Denmark of up to 2 kg are sent as registered letter (insured for DKK 10.000) at a price of DKK 125-200 incl. VAT. Parcels of up to 5 kg cost DKK 200 incl. VAT. Items sent abroad and valuable items are charged in accordance with Post Danmark rates. It costs between DKK 200 and DKK 300 incl. VAT to have an item transported to one of the affiliated stores from where they may be also be delivered. Payment for transport is made directly to the transport operator.
