What are max. bids?

All bids are max. bids, also known as auto bids. In other words, the bid you submit is the maximum that you wish to pay.

The system ensures that the hammer price is as low as possible and also at the most the amount you specified in your bid.

If a bid has already been made for the item, the bids menu will start from the next possible bid. If no bids have been submitted for the item, the start bid will be lowest bid in the menu. Choose the amount you wish to bid and click on Bid.

If someone else submits a bid higher than yours, you will receive an e-mail informing you about it. Likewise you'll receive an e-mail 15 minutes before the hammer is expected to fall informing you whether or not yours is the highest bid.

The last 15 minutes before the hammer is expected to fall no e-mails will be sent out.
