Each lot has been allocated a price by Bruun Rasmussen’s expert valuers giving an idea of the value. Nevertheless, the estimate price is only indicative and may be both higher or lower, depending on the interest there is for the article concerned. Fees & taxes25 per cent is added to the hammer price which covers buyer’s premium at 20% and VAT on the buyer’s premium. Certain lots are sold in accordance with specific rules on normal VAT arrangement, so that the purchase price is the hammer price plus an additional 20% in buyer’s premium and VAT of 25% levied on both the hammer price and the buyer’s premium. Such lots are marked with an asterisk (*). The works of more recent Danish and foreign artists are subject to a artistic royalty (a Copy-Dan charge) on the hammer price when the hammer price exceeds DKK 1,863.
