Auction House Anders Antik/Bruun Rasmussen has the Sweden’s best spring 2008 quality catalogue according to the journal Auktionstolvan.
Auktionstolvan has reviewed the auction house’s quality catalogues for item classification since 2001 and the results of this review are presented each season in their provenance ranking. The aim is to promote item classification in quality catalogues. Auktionstolvan will award the title of best quality catalogue every auction season.
Justification:
‘The Auction House Anders Antik has in the catalogue classified provenance determination, literature and exhibition references of missing in an excellent way. The department of painting and sculpture has a particularly well executed item classification with well executed references.
The department of arts and crafts has a top place in the provenance ranking as a leading arts and crafts department. The development of a new format has made the catalogue more accessible and easier to use.’
